Qatari visa representatives may face extinction

It was recently reported in Doha that an age old concept - using representatives for Immigration services could become extinct --or so says the director of the e-government program.

With the e-government services becoming increasingly popular in Qatar, the mandoobs (representatives) handling visa and immigration work for private sector companies, government departments, ministries and corporations may go out of job.

The e-government services are becoming quite popular and soon the visa and immigration work may begin to be conducted on-line, making a mandoob's job redundant.

It's our belief that good old fashioned service never goes out of style.
