Pro-Link GLOBAL (PLG) uses INSZoom state of the art enterprise software web based technology. We chose INSZoom after reviewing all the off the shelf options for a global immigration offering as well as looking into designing our own in-house proprietary model. We also had extensive discussions with clients to make sure it met their needs and was a product that they could see value in.
Why INSZoom
We chose INSZoom for its functionality, including the ability to customize the system based on client needs, and the excellent support provided by the INSZoom team. Just as our Clients outsource some or all of their non-core business functions (such as immigration services), PLG decided the “best practice” was to essentially outsource the development and maintenance of the software system, working closely with the “vendor” to tailor the system as necessary to meet client needs. As a result, we are able to focus on our core business providing global immigration legal services.
INSZoom Supports Global Network:
The Global practice uses a “tried and tested” network of immigration attorneys and specialists that has been developed over the past 15 years. All stakeholders have access to the INSZoom web-based software to upload their information to the particular case. They can update case notes, advise on status, and can view any digital information Pro-Link GLOBAL has uploaded that pertain to that particular case, all in real time. The ability to have all stakeholders viewing one database and entering all relevant status notes, reminders, etc. in one place from start to completion of a case, gives Pro-Link GLOBAL the ability to offer our clients a true global service delivery model that is not reliant on geography or “bricks and mortar” for effectiveness. As it is a web-based tool, the information can be accessed anytime, anywhere. User access may be restricted from a firm defined set of Internet Protocol addresses.

This case management system delivers improved operating efficiencies through automated workflow ensuring that human error does not impact visa renewals, that each case milestone is tracked by email notification and by streamlining the process. INSZoom enhances service delivery by managing immigration data from initiation of a case through its conclusion. This system allows for data to be collected on-line and centrally stored and analyzed in an enterprise database.

Automatic Government Form Population:
Case data input into the system automatically “populates” all government immigration forms which are filed with any foreign government to which we are applying. The system generates and manages the forms and documents that comprise the petition or application, ensuring swift processing and integrity and accuracy of data. The system can report on the data in a variety of formats, including automated online reports as to case status that may be accessed by your personnel on the Internet on demand.
Case Management:
The system’s case management features also allow us to manage internal workflow to ensure compliance through automated through put time (TPT) measurements, docketing systems and a variety of status reports (by paralegal, by client, by type of petition, by expiration date). In addition, the system enhances the delivery of services through more efficient client communications since clients can log in to determine the status of the case (drafting, filed, pending, approved), receive and send emails and view documents from the case file.
Technological Platform
INSZoom Global Immigration Case Management Software is built using:

- Microsoft SQL server 2005;
- Adobe Acrobat Writer 9.0;
- IIS 6.0 with DotNet Frame work;
- ASP Dot Net, COM components, Microsoft Transaction Server JavaScript, HTML, VB Script, Adobe Script;
- INSZoom was the first to launch the Case Management Revolution in 1999 and is the most mature, scalable and robust software today; and,
- INSZoom is built on the latest DotNet architecture platform from Microsoft and uses XML for data-exchange. The product architecture is extremely sound and about With 125 man-years invested to date the architecture of the product is extremely sound.
From a security perspective, INSZoom has 9 layers of data security, 256-bit encryption and geographically distinct back-up locations. All data communications are transmitted through Verisign’s 128-bit encryption technology. Their network and servers are protected by Cisco Networks PIX-Firewall, Check Point intrusion detection and software firewall, and antivirus software from Network Associates / McAfee. INSZoom ensures that all information is available only to authorized users. Their servers and data storage are hosted with Verio in an environment with 24x7 security and video surveillance monitored by security guards and protected by biometric hand scan entry systems and a Mantrap controlled entrance/exit.

Other Technology Resources:
We also maintain a licensed, on-line software product, called Constant Contact, which was ranked number 127 in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 in 2007. Constant Contact allows us to track Client’s information as it changes so as to keep in “constant contact”. This licensed web-based software has dual functionality in that new subscribers have the ability to “opt-in,” “opt-out” and/or update their information, thereby keeping us in continuous communication.
In addition to our interactive database/case management system, we rely heavily on other technology such as our Web site, electronic bulletin, and webinars for training sessions. We continue to work with outside providers and clients to ensure that we utilize any new technology that will increase our efficiency and meet our clients’ changing needs.
