Six Sigma Tools & Methodologies
The world of immigration is constantly in flux, and the processes we choose to use must be agile enough to change with it. What if you could make innovation an integral part of your process? No one argues against continuous improvement. Pro-Link GLOBAL looked for a tool to ensure that we would be able to translate the concepts of continuous improvement, from a “concept” into actual on-going events, which are many well-designed processes, to deliver a profitable outcome.
Six Sigma methodologies are powerful tools for dealing with and measuring results in this environment of inevitable change. Pro-Link GLOBAL has made a major commitment to using Six Sigma tools and Lean methodology - both to drive improvements in our own business and to deliver measurable results for clients. Our entire team attended certified Six Sigma training and employees were introduced to the concepts as well as participated in several practice exercises. Our team is made up of several Black and Green Belts, who continue to drive projects internally to continuously improve results and performance.
Pro-Link GLOBAL has identified existing internal processes that have dramatically improved our business and resulted in several “quick wins” for the team, and our clients.
Measurable Results
Survey Response Tripled
All clients are surveyed following completion of visa and immigration services using an award winning electronic delivery model called “Constant Contact”. The Operations team analyzed the survey data and using DMAIC process methodology to improve the format, increased the survey response by 300%.
Streamlining Workflows
By focusing on leveraging our considerable IT investment in INSZoom, and applying the concept that fewer defects mean less time spent on rework, by standardizing process flows, Pro-Link GLOBAL was able to quickly deliver improved time lines and efficiencies of scale.
Template Standardization
Following a statistical analysis of the survey format, it was found to be too lengthy and was not capturing measurable data. Using a “quick win” the template was amended to a new short format in a Question & Answer format allowing measurable data to be captured.
Service Level Agreement
A review of specific data gathered in our surveys, revealed inconsistent delivery by certain Keiretsu Global Network Members (PLG|KGNM), our branded network of Immigration Specialists around the world. Using these results, Pro-Link GLOBAL implemented additional measures to ensure consistent service delivery and improved survey scores confirm that these measures are successful.
Business Results Are the Sum of Your Processes
“The concept of improving results and performance on a continual basis is universally hailed as a great idea. Doing it is another matter. First off, in order to improve continuously, you have to improve initially. Sometimes it’s easy to see the flaws. Most of the time, it’s not. That’s why business results are often a mixed bag: two steps forward, one step back, sometimes better, sometimes worse. Simply stated, the goal is better, then better still.”
